I have a favour to ask.
The Japan Tourism Agency, the national government agency in charge of tourism in Japan, is running an official research project on accessible travel. Part of it looks at how hotels in Japan share accessibility information today, and what needs to change so disabled travellers can book with confidence.
They want to hear from people who live outside Japan and use a wheelchair, mobility scooter or other mobility aid, and from the family, friends and caregivers who travel with them. Accessible Japan is running the English-language survey.
It isn’t often that the people who shape tourism policy in Japan ask disabled travellers directly what they need. The more answers they get, the more weight the results carry, and this could make a real difference to accessible travel in Japan. We’d really love your help.
It takes about 15 minutes, it’s anonymous, and you don’t need to have been to Japan.
If you know someone it fits, please pass this on.
Thank you,
Josh
